Vikings-Cowboys trade The Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings swapped cornerbacks on Friday. The Cowboys received Andrew Booth Jr. and sent Nashon Wright to the Vikings in the deal, according to multiple reports.
Neither cornerback has played much for their respective teams so far. Booth, who was selected in the second round of the 2022 draft, has played in just 11% of snaps for the Vikings over the past two years. Wright has played more, but not much, in his three seasons with the Cowboys. He’s made just three starts over that timespan.

Could Brandon Aiyuk stay in San Francisco? Training camp’s favorite soap opera — outside of CeeDee Lamb vs. the Dallas Cowboys, of course — might be taking a turn for the better in San Francisco’s favor involving wideout Brandon Aiyuk.
The #49ers have made a renewed effort in recent days to strike a long-term deal with WR Brandon Aiyuk, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo.
The situation is fluid and other teams, including Pittsburgh, are still in the mix. But a return to SF appears increasingly possible.

Anthony Richardson=ready to go The second-year QB says he’s unfazed by the prospect of getting hit again.
I asked #Colts QB Anthony Richardson about the potential of being hit again:
“I don’t think there’s anything that people should be worried about because I’m not worried about getting hit or anything. I’m 100% ready. My shoulder can handle it.”
Any mental hurdles?

Joe Milton outshines fellow rookie Drake Maye in Patriots debut While all the attention was on No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye, he only played one uneventful series for the Patriots in their preseason opener against the Panthers Thursday.
But 6th-round rookie Joe Milton? He made the most exciting play of the day with a 38-yard TD strike in the 4th quarter. Hey, why not. The Patriots won 17-3.
